The Nadowli-Kaleo assembly in conjunction with the district Ghana Education Service had a successful 68th Independence Celebration at the Nadowli DA School park. The Clean Up and Quiz event celebrated the day brought together officials from the assembly, heads of department, the security service, traditional authorities, students and natives from Nadowli and surrounding communities.
The District Coordinating Director Safia Abudulai, representation from the Member of Parliament and other invited regional dignitaries graced the occasion to commemorate the day with students. The celebration was on the theme; “Reflect, Review and Reset”
The clean-up exercise saw principal streets of town and the assembly area thoroughly cleaned and gutters desilted. The CD admonished all to ensure that they keep the environment clean all the time to ensure healthy living. Later, a quiz competition was organized at the assembly hall to keep students battle for academic supremacy.
The theme for this year’s celebration guided the celebration which was a huge success on all levels.
