BUSINESS ADVISORY CENTRE (BAC) TRAINED MARKET WOMEN AT NADOWLI-KALEO DISTRICT ON FINANCIAL LITERACY

The Business Advisory Centre (BAC) under the Nadowli-Kaleo Assembly has organized a training workshop for market women at the Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly (NKDA) on financial literacy.

The training formed part of the Centre’s mandate to build the capacity of small-scale traders and women entrepreneurs to effectively manage their businesses. Topics covered included basic bookkeeping, savings culture, access to credit, record keeping, and strategies for sustaining and growing small businesses.

Facilitators emphasized the importance of proper financial planning and encouraged participants to adopt good savings habits, reinvest in their businesses, and keep accurate sales records to qualify for support from financial institutions.

Participants expressed their appreciation to the BAC and the Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly for the initiative, noting that the knowledge gained will go a long way to strengthening their businesses and improving their financial decisions.

The training formed part of BAC’s mandate to promote entrepreneurship and business development at the local level under the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) framework.
