As part of the mandate of the Regional Coordinating Council to monitor the implementation of projects in the various MMDAs in the region by the council.
The team was in to monitor projects and programmes of the Nadowli-Kaleo district for the 4th quarter of 2022 and the 1st quarter of 2023 to see to it that, the Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly is implementing the projects and programmes signed in the performance construct sign by Hon. DCE and DCD with the Hon. Regional Minister and RCD.
Also, the team was to check whether the District Assembly has been carrying out their statutory duties as mandated by the Local Government Act 2016 (Act 936) and staff attitude to work.
This team doing the monitoring, at the end awarded marks to all MMDAs in the region for their performance under the year of review.
The team at the end had an existing conference with staff and they encouraged staff to take their duties seriously and assist management to implement projects and programmes that will improve the development of the district and improve the living conditions of the people.
